Meet the Author
HTE Books are the product of award-winning author
Kelly Harris. In an attempt to provide a new spin on erotica, the author has
created collections of award winning short stories written in a novel, new
format. Rather than giving long drawn out third person accounts of romantic or
erotic situations, Kelly has instead chosen to provide just the right mix of
sexual tension, emotional buildup, and erotic release, all in a first person
narrative so that the reader can truly experience the story as if they were a
part of the story. Kelly's works are all between 5 and 20 pages and are all
based on true life stories given by friends, and acquaintances.
Kelly first started writing erotica for online
competitions. But after winning first prize
for a majority of submissions, it was quickly decided to compile them into mainstream
books and distribute them to the worldwide audience through venues such
as Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Kobo, Sony.. Although slightly more sexually honest
and blunt than "main stream romance", Kelly's stories have found their niche,
and if sales numbers and reviews are any indication, perhaps there has even been
a new trend started in Kelly’s work. Perhaps Kelly’s readers are ready for a happy
recipe of romance, erotica and a pinch of home town personalities with whom we
can all identify.
